The confession leaves Nana flustered and unable to ignore her own stirring feelings. At the same time, discussions about Souji’s future path force her into contact with his older brother Souichiro—the original intended matchmaking partner. When Souji learns of the meeting he reacts with visible hurt and issues a pointed declaration of his own.
