Synopsis
Nana Saikawa is a dedicated, well-liked high-school teacher whose students and colleagues respect her. The one exception is Souji Kuga, a cocky, aggressive problem student who constantly tests her patience. One day a family acquaintance arranges an omiai (matchmaking meeting) for the still-inexperienced Nana. Though nervous at first, she gradually relaxes and finds herself genuinely enjoying the company of the polite, attractive man across the table. The atmosphere grows warm and promising—until the truth is revealed: the man is Souji himself, disguised as his older brother.
Horrified by the teacher-student implications, Nana rejects the engagement on the spot. Souji, however, is undeterred. With the surprising blessing of both families, he begins an open and relentless pursuit, cornering Nana at school, in private, and everywhere in between. What follows is a turbulent romance filled with jealousy, school-festival complications, the involvement of Souji’s older brother Souichiro, overnight trips, feverish nights of care, and the slow melting of Nana’s professional resolve.
As the two navigate the constant risk of discovery, age-gap insecurities, and conflicting feelings, Nana must decide whether she can continue resisting the aggressive troublemaker who has already claimed her heart—or whether she will finally accept a love that defies every rule. The series builds to an emotional final episode in which mutual feelings are openly confessed, leaving the couple smiling and certain even while the teacher-student reality remains unchanged.
