僧侶の前に…俺だって男だよ
Mio Fukatani arrives at her class reunion carrying an old, unfinished feeling. The boy she liked in junior high is there, grown into a man who looks even better than her memory allowed—until he removes his hat. Underneath is a shaved head. Takahide Kujou has inherited the family temple and become a priest.
The reveal knocks the air out of her fantasy. In Mio’s mind a priest does not date, does not marry, and does not want the things she has been too shy to name. She drinks. The room blurs. When it is time to leave, Takahide offers to see her home, still speaking with the same careful manners she remembers.
That politeness is the trap. Behind the door, the reunion smile drops. He tells her plainly that the robes do not cancel the man underneath, then closes the distance she never expected a monk to close. Mio is stunned. She had prepared herself for disappointment, not for being pushed down by the person she once wanted most. She does not fight with real force. Surprise, leftover affection, and a body that recognizes him all get in the way. Episode 1 ends on that collision: the girl who thought her first love was safely out of reach, and the priest who has no intention of staying sacred.
