Otonari no Nie

Kazu and Shion grew up next door, carrying quiet feelings they never named. Family circumstances sent Kazu away. Five years later he returns to Japan and finds Shion grown into a striking young woman—same cool manner, changed body, changed eyes. He falls for her again and tries to close the gap. She wants that too, and still keeps him at arm’s length.

While he was gone her home fell apart. With her mother gone, Shion became the thing that holds the house together: the person her father calls when he wants “getting along.” That routine is practiced, daily, and hidden. Kazu’s return makes the double life sharper. Every visit, every almost-date, sits on top of a secret she believes would end any right she has to stand beside him.

The OVA, adapted from Inue Shinsuke’s dark original, is built on that split: daylight reunion versus what the house demands after the door closes. Staff include director Raikaken, script by Tokku 03, storyboards by Sagari Megane, and production by T-REX, with Shion voiced by Ouka Suki. It is an 18+ work about first love colliding with a household that has already claimed her.
