Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru – Episode 1 (RAW)

Episode 1 opens in Parastia, a land of swords and magic where one step outside town is monster country. Roni, the party's painfully serious priest, meets his newest ally: Amona, a beautiful dark summoner who wields demonic power. She is a Shin demi-human, and he treats that bloodline as an insult to the faith. Holy against unholy, human against demi-human, the two look ready to tear the party apart. The clash does not stay verbal. On the very day she joins, something happens between them that the preview only marks with crosses, and the morning after leaves both stuck with a secret. Amona keeps her cool in front of the others. Roni cannot quite manage the same. Script and storyboards are by Seiya Miyajima, with episode direction by Kota Hashiguchi and animation direction by Takahiro Sasaki. The same broadcast also launches Mini Anime Theater Part 1. The cast returns as cute super-deformed characters for slapstick skits apart from the main plot. One short drops the dark summoner into a kindergarten and asks why the children keep bowling her over. Another plants the secret couple inside a concept cafe. Forbidden spark and broad comedy share the premiere.
