Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru – Episode 4 (RAW): Daaku Samonaa to Katabutsu Shinkan / Mini Anime Gekijou Sono 1

In the sword-and-sorcery world of Parastia, one step outside town is monster territory. Roni, a painfully upright priest-in-training, gains a new party member: Amona, a beautiful dark summoner and Shin demi-human who wields demonic power. Holy and unholy, human and demi-human, everyone expects them to clash like cats and dogs. Roni opposes her joining at once, calling her power blasphemy against the god he serves. On the very day she joins, the two cross a line neither planned, and the morning after leaves them with a secret they must hide. From then on the stiff priest starts looking after her while she keeps her sharp tongue and the imp stirs them. Script and storyboards are by Seiya Miyajima, with direction by Kota Hashiguchi and animation direction by Takahiro Sasaki. The same episode launches Mini Anime Theater Part 1. The cast becomes cute super-deformed characters for slapstick outside the main plot. One short asks if the high-school dark summoner is actually dating someone. Another sets the secret couple inside a concept cafe. Forbidden spark and comedy open the series together.
