Taimanin Asagi 3 – Episode 1 (EN)

Asagi infiltrates Tokyo Kingdom, a discarded bay island now used as a demon-allied hideout. The target is already dead. Koukawa Asuka—the missing Taimanin who lost her arms and legs in battle, then vanished—has finished the job in a steel-limbed body. The meeting is cold. Asuka is no longer under Gosha’s command; she hunts Nomad and demon alike as the “Steel Reaper,” and she still carries a grudge against Asagi’s choices.

That encounter is a decoy. While Asagi is off-site, Nomad and Oboro’s network strike Gosha Academy. Sakura Igawa and Yatsu Murasaki hold the line against soldiers and a government war machine until they are overwhelmed. Kousuke, the boy Asagi raised after his brother’s death, is seized. His desperate attachment to Asagi—and the ninja art that attachment woke—becomes the lever Oboro needs.

By the end of the episode the private life Asagi built is gone. The strongest Taimanin is pulled back into the same pattern that cost her fiancé years earlier: a mission that was never only a mission, a family used as bait, and Oboro waiting on the other side. The episode establishes Tokyo Kingdom, Asuka’s return, the fall of Gosha’s defenders, and the hostage that will decide episode two. Runtime ~21–25 minutes. Released 23 December 2016. Cast includes Hoshi Riruka (Asagi), Asayuri (Sakura), Haruna Ren (Murasaki), Tezuka Ryouko (Asuka), Itou Sara (Oboro).
