Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! – Episode 1 (ES)

To avoid repeating the year, Ume Mizunoe joins the student council packed with unique personalities. Nervously starting his duties as secretary, he is immediately swept up by the strong quirks of those around him.

The charismatic yet muttsuri president Hisako Kotobuki, the intimidating but gentle treasurer Arisu Terui, the cheeky cute boy Tan Otori, and others pull him into one absurd situation after another. From confiscating prohibited items to dealing with unexpected antics, Ume’s first days become a nonstop barrage of slapstick and awkward charm.

What begins as a simple plan to raise his grades quickly turns into chaotic daily life surrounded by the cutest, most mismatched group of officers. The episode perfectly introduces the heartfelt yet wild tone of the series, showing how even the student council has its own “holes” — and how Ume is about to get claimed by all of it. Directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa with sharp comedic timing, this premiere sets the stage for endless student council mayhem.
