Rio is still paying the price for trying to save Hinano. While a teacher uses her, she worries that Hinano is changing under Yua’s influence—softer, more secretive, less hers. When Hinano shuts her out with a weak “Yua told me not to talk,” Rio’s faint hope that she still matters collapses. She calls Yua to the gym storehouse to demand the truth.
