Kunoichi Botan follows two female ninjas on a dangerous infiltration mission into a merchant’s heavily guarded estate. The story centers on the experienced kunoichi Botan and her admiring junior Yasuzu (Yasuzo/Night Bell).

Yasuzu is captured first and brutally assaulted by a group of “half-oni” (demi-ogre) men empowered by a demonic aura. While enduring the torment, she clings to thoughts of her respected senior, Botan. Meanwhile, Botan sneaks into the mansion using her signature ninja art “Kage Bunshin” (Shadow Clone) to take down guards. However, the merchant appears with the broken Yasuzu and springs a trap, capturing Botan and her clones.

In the second part, the restrained duo secretly plots a comeback from the underground dungeon. They suspect the merchant possesses a special drug called “Kiketsu Yume” (Ogre-Control Dream) that allows him to command the half-oni. The kunoichi escape their cell and attempt to steal the drug, but the merchant has anticipated their every move and prepared yet another cunning trap.
