Kanojo no Tomodachi – Episode 2 (EN)

After the karaoke session, the mood stays light as Takeru and Kaori leave together. Without thinking too hard about it, they end up holding hands while walking home. Kaori is overjoyed—this is the first time they have held hands as a couple—and she keeps smiling and talking happily about the evening. Takeru, however, can barely focus. His mind keeps drifting back to the earlier moments with Tomoko and the suggestive things she said and did while the three of them were together. He tries to act normal, but his replies grow shorter and his thoughts stay elsewhere. Kaori notices something is off yet still pushes forward with her usual cheerful energy. Wanting to make the night even more special, she asks Takeru for a kiss. Before he can fully process the request, she leans in close, closing the distance between them. The walk that began as a simple, happy moment after karaoke suddenly becomes charged with unspoken tension as Takeru struggles between the girl holding his hand and the memories of her friend that refuse to leave his head.
