The childlike look is unchanged; the speech is not. She slurs an offer: her first time, for Sou-chan. Then a broken giggle—“ehe… he…”—logged in the Japanese copy as mental collapse and an eerie laugh. The man who built a theology around saving her now watches the theology work too well. Transformation here is not a costume swap. It is the moment the captive stops arguing in complete sentences and starts performing the role he wrote.
