Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san – Episode 1 (RAW)

In the first episode of Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san, Shizuka faces two classic urban legends. Late at night in a high-rise building, ringing phones echo with the chilling voice of “Mary-san.” The ghostly caller relentlessly pursues Shizuka through rooms and corridors via every telephone line. When cornered, Mary-san encounters something unexpected thanks to Kamui’s clever intervention.

Next, the legless Teke Teke, searching for her lost lower half, appears before Shizuka after Kamui forces her to hear the story. However, the encounter turns out to be part of Kamui’s elaborate trap.

The episode also includes the first installment of the Mini Anime Theater, featuring short comedic skits: “Snack Hazama Part 1” and “Death Game Part 1.”

Shizuka’s ordinary life is once again upended by ghosts and Kamui’s over-the-top exorcism style. The blend of creepy atmosphere, hilarious reactions, and Kamui’s signature unconventional methods sets the tone for the series. New viewers get a perfect introduction to the chaotic supernatural world and the dynamic between the reluctant assistant and her eccentric boss.
