Mio Yuzuki is a student who excels both academically and in sports at a high-level academy, where she serves as the student council president. She spends her busy yet enjoyable days with her childhood friend Rinka Ayukawa, her cousin Yui Ikoma, and her underclassman and admirer, Konomi Asahina, who is also a member of the student council.
Since her parents are mainly active overseas, they are rarely at home, but Mio doesn’t feel lonely because Shiori Usayo, a live-in helper, is there. Mio and Shiori have a close relationship, resembling that of sisters, and they have a family-like bond.
Mio is leading a fulfilling life, but one day an unexpected misfortune befalls her.
