Kanojo no Tomodachi – Episode 5 (RAW)

During a trip, Kaori is unexpectedly scouted by a talent agency. That night, Takeru cannot sleep and wanders the hallway of their lodging. There he runs into Tomoko. Confused and concerned, Takeru asks her why Kaori turned down such a rare opportunity. He does not understand Kaori’s decision and hopes Tomoko, as her closest friend, can explain it. The late-night conversation between Takeru and Tomoko takes place in the quiet hallway, far from Kaori, creating a private and tense atmosphere. Takeru’s worry for Kaori mixes with the complicated feelings he already has toward Tomoko. As he presses for answers about Kaori’s choice, the moment highlights how much the three of them remain entangled even while on a trip meant to be ordinary. Tomoko’s presence alone is enough to stir the unresolved tension between them, while Takeru’s inability to sleep shows how heavily the day’s events and his own secrets weigh on him.
