In the middle of computer class, Takumi Matsuo notices something impossible: the mouse cursor has left his monitor and is floating in the real classroom. He tries to get his childhood friend and seatmate, Mone Himeno, to look. She dismisses him the way she always does—another otaku being weird.
Once the lesson continues, Takumi experiments. The cursor moves when he wants it to. It can press, drag, and click objects that exist in the physical world. No one else can see it. The temptation is immediate. He guides the cursor under Mone’s uniform, into the gaps of her clothes, and begins clicking the places that make her body jump while she fights to stay quiet at her desk.
What begins as payback for years of being treated like a joke quickly becomes something else. Mone cannot identify the source of the sensation. She can only endure it, face flushed, while the rest of the class remains oblivious. Then a new element appears in Takumi’s private interface: a button that was never part of any computer program. The first episode ends with the question hanging in the air—what happens if he clicks that one?
