Takumi Matsuo is a quiet computer otaku whose childhood bond with Mone Himeno has cooled into daily mockery. During an ordinary information-science class, the mouse cursor on his screen slips out of the monitor and into the classroom. No one else can see it. After a panicked, ignored attempt to show Mone, Takumi realizes he can move the cursor himself and that it can interact with the physical world.

He tests the power first on objects, then on the girl who has spent years looking down on him. The cursor slides between the folds of Mone’s uniform. Each click produces a reaction she cannot explain and cannot stop. What starts as petty revenge quickly turns into something neither of them understands when an unexpected interface element appears: a button labeled for the real thing.

Around them, classmates Kaoru Nishimiya and art-club president Mirei Aida begin to notice that Takumi’s luck—and his relationship with the girls around him—is changing in ways that make no sense. The series follows Takumi as he learns the rules, limits, and dangerous possibilities of a power only he can see, while the line between teasing, control, and genuine feeling grows thinner with every click.
