Famires Senshi Pudding (Sex Warrior Pudding), an iconic hentai comedy about maids and magical girls, celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Origin

The hentai is based on Famiresu Senshi Purin (Famires Senshi Pudding) a hentai manga by artist Hinoki Kazushi that began to be published by Shonen Gahosha on February 25, 2022.

Milky Animation Label and MS Pictures released its first animated episode on May 25, 2004. With a total of two OVAs, the animated series ended on February 25, 2005..

Story

There is a small restaurant whose hostesses are in secret members of an organisation who fights a mysterious villain. This villain sends out “Lividolls” to sexually torture women. When the hostesses, their leader is called Pudding, are send out, they also get “tortured”. But there is a guy, originally a standard looser boy, who becomes the manager of this organisation due to heritage. Besides having sex with all the members (and especially with his new girlfriend Pudding), he also has the ability to awaken Pudding’s hidden powers to beat the villains.

Reception

It is uncertain how successful Famires Senshi Pudding was in Japan over the years. However, it is speculated that it had a moderate reception. In contrast, it was better received abroad due to its comedic plot and the multiple uncensored versions that reached Europe and America.

Although Famires Senshi Pudding is relatively unknown today, many old-school otakus still consider it a cult series.
