The new school term begins, and second-year student Akihito Abikura hopes for a peaceful year. Instead, his homeroom teacher Hiyori Hiwamura bursts into class covered in blood, speaking in a creepy whisper. Rumors instantly spread that she’s a cursed “Kowakowa Sensei” who’ll hex anyone who displeases her. After school, Akihito returns to the classroom and catches her practicing lessons alone — voice barely audible, collapsing from exhaustion after minutes of effort.
