Shoujo Ramune – Episode 5 (EN)

In Episode 5 of Shoujo Ramune, the long, humid days of summer push Tachikawa’s restraint to its breaking point. After a particularly lazy afternoon of snacking and playing at the dagashiya, Chii-chan (Sayama Chie) grows drowsy. Rather than heading home, she instinctively crawls under the futon in the back room, treating Tachikawa’s private space as casually as her own bedroom. What follows is a slow-burning shift from domestic comfort to predatory curiosity. Tachikawa joins her under the covers under the guise of rest, but his hands begin to wander. The episode focuses heavily on Chii’s sleepy, trusting demeanor contrasted against Tachikawa’s escalating advances. Unlike the rowdy energy brought by Komako or the teasing nature of Sweetka, Chii represents a softer, more vulnerable target. The futon becomes a confined stage where stolen touches are disguised as accidents. The atmosphere is thick with tension as Tachikawa exploits her drowsy state, moving from innocent stroking to sensitive exploration. By the time the episode ends, the line between guardian and threat has been completely erased, leaving viewers with an uncomfortable portrait of desire masked as affection.
